Terms of Service

Sunny is a family operating system that helps families organise schedules, plan meals, share responsibilities and create more breathing room in everyday life.

These Terms apply to anyone who accesses or uses Sunny, including visitors, registered users and anyone invited to join a family account.

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Sunny, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use Sunny.

To create a Sunny account, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the legal authority to create and manage an account on behalf of your family.

If you are using Sunny on behalf of a household, you confirm that you have permission to add information about the members of that household.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure.
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
• Maintaining the security of the device and email address used to access Sunny.
• Letting us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

By using Sunny, you agree to:

• Use Sunny only for lawful purposes.
• Not misuse, disrupt or interfere with the platform or other users.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Sunny, its systems or other users' accounts.
• Not upload malicious software, harmful content or anything that could damage or overload Sunny.

You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to add information about members of your household into Sunny. This includes names, schedules, meal preferences, allergies and any other details you choose to store.

Sunny is designed for parents and caregivers to manage family information. Please do not add personal information about people outside your household without their consent.

You may choose to connect third-party services such as Google Calendar. These connections are entirely optional.

• Sunny only accesses the information necessary to provide the connected feature.
• For Google Calendar, Sunny reads event titles, times and descriptions so it can display your real commitments alongside Sunny's plans.
• Sunny does not modify, delete or write events back to connected services unless explicitly stated.
• You can disconnect any connected service at any time from your account settings.

Sunny, its branding, design, software and content remain the property of Sunny and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from Sunny without our permission.

You retain ownership of the information you enter into Sunny. We only use that information to provide and improve the service for your family.

Sunny is provided on an "as available" basis. We work hard to keep Sunny reliable, but features may occasionally be unavailable, change or improve as the product evolves.

We may update, change or remove features from time to time. We will do our best to let you know about significant changes that affect how you use Sunny.

Some users may access beta or early-access features. These features may change, contain bugs or be removed at any time.

Feedback you provide during beta may be used to improve Sunny. By sharing feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction.

Sunny is designed to assist with family organisation, but you remain responsible for decisions relating to your family, schedules, meals, activities and wellbeing.

Sunny does not guarantee that plans, reminders, suggestions or calendar information will always be complete, accurate or suitable for every situation. Please use your own judgement and confirm important details when needed.

To the extent permitted by law, Sunny's liability is limited to the amount you have paid to use Sunny in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if you have not paid for Sunny.

You may stop using Sunny at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Sunny may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or put the security of the platform at risk.

Sunny may update these Terms from time to time as the service grows or laws change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page.

For significant changes, we will let you know through the app or by email. Continuing to use Sunny after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Sunny's business entity is established. The specific jurisdiction will be updated here once Sunny's formal business entity is registered.
